The Dental practice would not work without the main members of the team. Our Receptionists, Rachel and Lisa, dental nurses, Jackie Maria, Tina and external laboratory technicians, Robin and Team, and Duan, are the backbone of Odiham Dental Care. Each member is fully trained and our dental nurses and laboratories are all registered with the General Dental Council.

Nethmin Warnakulasuriya (Mr Warna)

Nethmin is an experienced Dentist having worked solely in general dental practice since 2001. He provides high quality dental treatment in a friendly, relaxed environment. Many patients have commented on the gentle and informative approach he provides during his dental treatments which helps his patients feel relaxed and at ease.

Nethmin provides all the services that make up good general dentistry. With a passion for rejuvenating smiles as simply as possible. He has a flare and special interest in root canal therapy and a dedicated interest in implant dentistry, having trained with the Oxford Society of Oral Implantology, under the direct guidance of Professor Chanvaz (a world renowned Dental implantologist).

With the continual need to keep at the forefront of Dentistry, Nethmin maintains his professional development beyond the compulsory requirements of the General Dental Council (dentistry’s regulating body).

Anna Steel

Anna is an experienced Dentist. Since qualifying from Guy’s Hospital, London she has worked in general practice, community dental practice and special care dentistry. She provides high quality dentistry in a caring manner. Anna will guide and help you through your dental needs. Many patients have commented on her approachable and understanding attitude making sure each and everyone is treated as an individual with individual needs.

Anna has undergone training in Children’s Dentistry and Special needs dentistry. Time spent within General practice, Community practice and Special care Dentistry has allowed Anna to develop a keen interest in preventative dentistry. She has a clear goal in preventing your dental problems and providing the best way of maintaining a healthy mouth.

Anna is always striving to be at the forefront of Dentistry and maintains her required commitment to continual professional development.

Mehdi Hussain

Mehdi has joined the team this year bringing with him a wealth of experience . He qualified from the University of Manchester in 2000 and has worked in general practice for those 11 years. He also practises in an exclusively private dental surgery on the South Coast and provides the dental care for the employees of a global law firm in London.

Mehdi is dedicated to providing his patients with the most advanced dental care. He has completed the Certificate in Restorative Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute in London and is currently undertaking a 3 year postgraduate course in Implant Dentistry also at the Eastman Dental Institute.

Mehdi enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has had particular interest endodontics (root fillings) and cosmetic dentistry. He also has considerable experience in treating nervous and anxious patients.

Away from dentistry Mehdi lives locally and enjoys time with his young family.

Mark Bishop

Mark Bishop has decided to come and work with us at Odiham Dental Care.  Mark has a special interest in Endodontics and now welcomes referrals from colleagues in the local area.  Initially Mark will be working every Tuesday.

Mark completed his Msc Degree in Endodontics at the Guy’s campus of King’s College London in 2001.  For several years he practised endodontics in various practices in Kent, London, Hampshire and Berkshire.

Prior to taking up endodontics Mark spent most of his career teaching dental students and doing research on the dental pulp or “nerve centre” of the tooth.  This provided a solid platform from which to approach the art and science of endodontics (root fillings).
